Children are welcome at all our wedding events. This is not a child-free celebration! We understand that travelling with little ones can be a challenge, and that some families may need extra support. If you’d like to bring additional guests to help you enjoy your time on the Tablelands, they’re more than welcome to join the festivities. Just let us know in your RSVP and we’ll make sure there’s a seat for everyone.
-
There is no dress code!
Here are some tips for comfort:The ceremony will be held outdoors. There will be uneven ground (lawn, stone paths, slopes), so please wear comfortable shoes.
While the days are likely to be warm (potentially over 30°C), night time in November on the Tablelands can still get cool. Consider bringing a coat or shawl to the reception if you feel the cold easily.

We recommend staying in Yungaburra. Please see our Transport & Accommodation information here.

3pm Ceremony
MacKinnon Family Property
67 Villella Road, Tolga QLD 4882
(Click here to see the location on a map)
6pm Reception
Little Eden
20 Gillies Range Rd, Yungaburra QLD 4884
(Click here to see the location on a map)The ceremony location is roughly a 25 minute drive from Yungaburra, including a short section of unsealed road. We believe most of our guests would prefer to travel in their private vehicles, but are happy to arrange a bus or carpooling for anyone who would like this option. There is plenty of parking available at both ceremony and reception locations.

As the ceremony venue is out of town, the mobile reception may be fine, unreliable, or nonexistent (depending on which service provider you’re with). It’s a good idea to make plans ahead of time and let others know you may be out of reach while at the ceremony.
The reception venue is in Yungaburra town and should have reception for most providers. -
Having you with us to celebrate is the greatest gift of all — we’re not expecting anything more.

Our beloved dog, Gumnut, lives at the wedding ceremony location and may make a guest appearance during the festivities. She’s a friendly soul who adores people – you’ll likely see her bounding up to say hello, only to flop onto her back for belly rubs.
While she’s very gentle, she can be a little shy around children and may retreat if she feels overwhelmed. We’ll be keeping an eye on her, but feel free to give her a pat if she comes your way!
